This participatory action-research project explored life on the Horace Petty public housing estate through creative engagement activities, and through doing so, developed a detailed ‘social atlas’ publication documenting the meaning of relationships, experiences of place, and the wealth of human resources and knowledge present among the local residents on the estate. Through this process insights were gathered around how longer-term community development projects might be established at the Horace Petty Estate and disseminated to the wider community and policy-makers.
